My latest experiment with using board games in class went very well! I introduced the concept of musical intervals today, and wanted a quick way to reinforce the concept with all the students. I decided to try out a version of "Chutes and Ladders" after seeing a friend with a young daughter post about his recent experiences with the game.
Instead of using dice to figure out how many spaces to advance, I set up three computer stations using a tutorial from musictheory.net.

Today we learned Chutes and Ladders!
Musical intervals!
